Free Music

Everyone loves music, but when it comes to new music discovery, it is so annoying, specially when using mobile devices. You have to listen to hundreds of songs to discover the one you like. Why not try a simpler approach and download an app which recommends the songs on your liking and disliking.

Here is a list for some music related apps. You must try those at least once to get what they are offering. All of these apps are compatible with the iOS devices and most of the Android devices:

1. Spotify

Spotify is an app designed for several different platforms including Android and iOS, to specifically facilitate the music lovers with its huge collection. Spotify is in direct competition with other music streaming apps like Pandora in European and USA regions. It has several interesting features which other music streaming apps lack, but in some aspects it is still struggling.

It is very easy to download and install Spotify on your Android or iOS device. After the successful installation, just start the app. It will take a few moments to boot up for the first time. The app will ask for your credentials to login. If you already have a Spotify account then simply enter the email and password in order to login, if you don’t have an account already then it’s time to create and account.

Click on the register button and there are three options to create an account in order to use Spotify.

The basic working of this amazing app is quite simple. After you login successfully (regardless of what account you choose to run this app), there will be a search bar. You can enter the name of your favorite band, artist or the song and Spotify will search that for you. You can listen to the song right on the spot. If you have a premium account, you can even use the offline feature, in which you can download a song while listening for later use. The downloaded song will available in the music library and you can listen to those songs even if you are not connected to the internet.

One of the amazing features this app has it the music recommendation. You can listen to a specific song and tap the “like” or “dislike” button. The app will send this information to its server and that manages your virtual personality. The app will get the data back again and you’ll get even better recommendations in the future.

You can upgrade to another account type anytime. Most of the people consider the “unlimited” and “premium” account types as similar. But in real those are different as mention above.
